Nihilism falls in love | "I'm Dead Inside"

I'm Dead Inside - 2:42 minutes

We follow a guy who has trouble feeling emotions and compassion for others. He is defined by his indifferent smile and head bob throughout.

The guy gets a message in the mail with a bird sign, a sign from the universe which shows a cat with the eyes. He talks with a girl but feels nothing in his heart. He reads a book of poetry on the way to the zoo, and the bird flies above almost leading him or sending a good omen that the zoo will show him something. Perhaps poetry. A cat beckons him to go into the void. He goes through some shape shifting and goes on a trip. He walks home with arms swinging and distorting reality.

The TV shows a bunch of bad news, which points out how we are bombarded by tragedies in the news. And also how the character pays attention to only the bad stuff. In the end the universe helps him feel love again by leading him into the void and meeting a girl who turns out to be a cat on the inside too. At the end the cat women scratches him, revealing his insides.
